When Ian finds Pauline at the allotments she tells him about Chloe and he's shocked by her decision – she wants to get Chloe back. The police conduct their interviews on Pat and Billy following Phil's capture. They both stick to the story that they knew nothing about his activities and the police are forced to let them go.
