Match of the Day kicks off with the first of football's 1972/73 action highlights - from two of today's first-round ties in the Watney Cup Competition. Eight of the leading goal-scoring teams from the four divisions of the Football League - Sheffield United, Wolves, Blackpool, Burnley, Bristol Rovers, Notts County, Peterborough, Lincoln - are taking part in this knock-out competition.
