6th June 2001: World Cup Qualifier

Coverage from Athens of England's World Cup qualifying game against Greece. After starting badly by losing to Germany, England's wins against Finland and Albania under their new coach Sven Goran Eriksson have rekindled hopes of qualifying for next year's finals. England desperately need a win tonight to gain the three vital points that would secure them at least a place in the play-offs. Greece are nearly out of the World Cup after losing to Albania, but played very impressively in their matches against Germany.
