The tension mounts as the singing contest draws ever closer to its conclusion. With the arrival of the quarter-finals, the remaining stars now have the reward of a lucrative recording contract with Polydor Records within sight. However, more live performances await, and coaches Jennifer Hudson, Tom Jones, Will.i.am and Gavin Rossdale will need to help whittle down the number of would-be stars to just eight ahead of the next, penultimate round.
