The Newman family gather at the hospital and discuss the fallout of the shooting. Avery and Nick are startled by Dylan when he arrives at the tack house with a gift for Faith. Dylan reveals that he is leaving for Chicago, for good. Nick excuses himself so Avery and Dylan can say their goodbyes. Michael presses Lauren to be completely honest with him. Lauren shoots down the idea of marriage counseling.
