Karl treats Brad for a bruised and battered hand, but when he asks Brad how the injury occurred, Brad’s story is far from convincing. Karl thinks nothing more about it until he’s informed about the assault on Ezra Hanley. Concerned that the two things may be connected, Karl confronts Brad. Brad admits he lied about how he injured his hand, but swears he had nothing to do with Ezra’s attack.
