Mackenzie is filming a scene for Hendrixs zombie movie when Karl and Toadie appear. Karl advises Toadie to seek the truth if he wants closure, so he sets up a meeting with Melanie. Unfortunately, the meeting does not go well, and Toadie leaves feeling chastised. Mackenzie suggests a way to help him get Melanie back, while Kyle decides to enter a film festival for the prize money.
